Soilsafe Aotearoa is running a series of art exhibits to share the soil values of our community and highlight local artists who capture diverse soil values in their work. Join us at the Rānui Community Centre and Library for our Soil Art Exhibit on July 2nd from 9:30am to 1:45pm. Experience soil through the works of talented local artists Shona Dey (photography), Ekarasa Doblanovic (soil pigment art), and Nicole Johnson (watercolour).

Join Ekarasa at the Rānui Library for a tile-painting with soil pigments workshop from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Here you will use the colours of soil to paint your own tile and learn how to work with these pigments.

Hear and see what communities around Aotearoa have told us about their values of soil through our soil photoscape and soundscape.

Kids can experience soil and learn more through fun activities, including a microscope station and worms! Kids activities will be located at the Rānui Library across the road from the Rānui Community Centre.

Admission is completely free, so come along and experience soil like you never have before. We hope to see you there!
