Our Soilsafe Kids workshop series continues in 2023!
We’re enjoying being back in classrooms in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (shout out to Riverina School, pictured here!) and soon we’ll be working alongside students in Te Tai Tokerau Northland schools.
In Tāmaki this year we are thrilled to partnering with Kelmarna Gardens, providing primary school students with an on- site experience of a working urban garden for one of our workshop days. There they are doing the mahi of composting, learning about microbes, green and brown compost proportions, temperature and materials.
Ka rawe kids – some great thinking about natural systems is going on in our garden spaces!
